About Cambodia Entry Visa

• All overseas travellers to Cambodia, other than countries stated in the Visa Exemption list, are required to have a valid visa for entry, regardless of tourist or business purposes
  ※ Please note that Japan is NOT under the exempted countries
  ※ For more information, please refer to List of Visa Exemption Countries here
• Entry Visa can be applied via overseas Embassy/Consulate offices, via Arrival Visa (at Cambodia international airports/border checkpoints), and via online at eVisa Offical Website (URL) by Cambodia Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation
  ※ Please note that our consulate will NOT respond to any inquiries about eVisa application, such as application status etc. Please contact directly via eVisa Official Website

Visa Extension Procedures

Extension of Tourist and Business visa can only be done at the Department of Immigration office in Cambodia. The office is located at, 322 Russian Boulevard, opposite Phnom Penh International Airport.

１．Tourist “T” Visa: One-time extension only, with extension period of 30 days
２．Business “E” Visa: Extension period of 1-month or 3-month (single entry only) and 6-month or 12-month (multiple entry) are available

※ Please note that our consulate is unable to respond to any inquiries on visa extension procedures in Cambodia. Please contact directly to the Department of Immigration or via travel agents in Cambodia that provide visa extension services on behalf

Visa Application Procedures

• At our Osaka consulate office, only “Single Entry” visa is being issued
• Single Entry visa allows for stay in Cambodia for 30 days, and is valid for three months from date of issue
• Please apply for visa at least two months before your intended travel date
• In order to enter Cambodia, travellers are required to have their passport remaining validity of at least six months or more from the expected date of entry into Cambodia
  ※ Please note that our Consulate will not take responsibility if visa is issued despite applicant’s passport has less than six months validity. We advise all applicants to check their remaining passport validity before applying
• Travellers who are visiting Cambodia for purposes such as tour guides, business-meetings, overseas studies, long-term volunteer work, employment, or retirement are required to apply Business visa for entry
• Appointment is NOT required for visa application/collection at our Consulate
• Visa application/collection via mail postage service is NOT available at our Consulate

Application flow at our consulate is as follows:

① Please check and prepare Required Documents for Visa Application beforehand

② Submit documents at our consulate office ※ Applications with insufficient documents may be rejected ※ Photocopy and photo-taking services are NOT available at our office ※ All documents should be printed on A4-sized paper ※ Depositing of passport is required for visa issuance ※ Please remove passport cover before submission ※ Application through an authorized personnel is allowed. Please ensure all information (including applicant’s signature) on application form are completed beforehand ※ Non-visa applicants but who are authorized to apply on behalf are required to fill in a separate “Application Authorization Form” at reception counter ※ For visa application by travel agency, kindly indicate company details on each application form and passport as per below:

③ Payment of visa application fee

④ Issuance of receipt for visa collection ※ Please note that, other than business visa application, request to indicate specific addressee on receipt is NOT allowed

⑤ Visa will be available for collection after two working days from application date

⑥ Present receipt for visa collection ※ In the event of lost of receipt, please present identification card for verification purposes ※ Collection of visa through authorized personnel is allowed. In this case, a Letter of Authorization is required ➔ 委任状 ➔ 委任状（複数人用）

Required Documents For Visa Application

1．Tourist “T” Visa

For applicants who are nationals of the following countries ONLY ー Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Sri Lanka, in addition to the above, the below supporting documents (i) ～ (iii) are also required for application

(i) Return air ticket or E-ticket　1 copy
(ii) Certificate of Residence (住民票)　1 copy
(iii) Hotel reservation confirmation　1 copy

※ It is recommendable for applicants of the above-stated nationals, who wish to visit Cambodia for Tourism purposes, to join tour packages organized by travel agency in Japan, as they can act as the main guarantor
※ For applicants who are nationals of Nigeria and Bangladesh, please apply via Arrival Visa

2．Business “E” Visa

① Application Form (original) １copy	※ Form must be completed, dated and signed by applicant
② Photo (original)　1 copy	※ Colour photo taken within last three months with no background ※ Passport size 4.5cm×3.5cm
③ Passport (original)	※ With remaining validity of six months or more from date of entry into Cambodia
④ Residence Card (front and back photocopy)　1 copy	※ Applies to foreigners residing in Japan only
⑤ Passport Data/Photo Page (photocopy)　1 copy	※ Applies to foreigners residing in Japan only
⑥ Letter of Guarantee or Invitation　 １ copy	※ Document in English required ※ PDF copy allowed
⑦ Certificate of Incorporation　１ copy	※ PDF copy allowed
⑧ Patent Tax　１ copy	※ PDF copy allowed
⑨ Schedule of Stay　1 copy ➔ Sample（Downloadable file）	※ Document in English required ※ Document to be prepared by applicant

Notes
a. For investors or CEOs of company in Cambodia, submission of Guarantee/Invitation Letter is NOT required
b. For visit to governmental organizations, international cooperation affliations or schools in Cambodia, “Certificate of Incorporation” and “Patent Tax” are not available, hence submission is not required
c. For employment seekers, please submit “Letter on Employment Seeking” (in English) and “Schedule of Stay”
d. For retirees, please submit “Proof of Retirement” and “Schedule of Stay”

3．Diplomatic “A”・Official “B” Visa

Applicants of Japanese nationality and who are holders of Diplomatic/Official Passport are permitted to enter and stay in Cambodia without a visa, not exceeding 90 days.

Applicants of foreign nationality and who are holders of Diplomatic or Official Passport (not classified under the Visa Exemption List), are required to submit the following for visa application:

① Two visa application forms (one original and one photocopy)
② One recent passport-sized colour photo
 ※35mm x 45mm (with white background), taken within three months
③ Passport
 ※Have at least six months validity from expected date of entry into Cambodia.
④ Two copies of passport page showing applicant’s photo and details.
⑤ Verbal Note from their respective foreign mission in Tokyo (one original and one photocopy).

4．Courtesy “C” Visa

Applicants who are staff of United Nations Agencies, International Organizations and NGOs

5．Khmer “K” Visa

Applicants who are Cambodia nationals but holder of Japan Passport

① Application Form (original) １copy	※ Form must be completed, dated and signed by applicant
② Photo (original)　1 copy	※ Colour photo taken within last three months with no background ※ Passport size 4.5cm×3.5cm
③ Passport (original)	※ With remaining validity of six months or more from date of entry into Cambodia
④ Passport Data/Photo Page (photocopy)　1 copy	※ For child’s application, passport copies of parents are also required
⑤ Certificate of Residence（住民票）　１ copy	※ Proof of parent-child relationship
⑥ Birth Certificate（Issued in Japan）　１ copy
⑦ Schedule of Stay　1 copy ➔ Sample（Downloadable file）	※ Document in English required ※ Document to be prepared by applicant

※ Only cash payment is accepted at our consulate
※ Application fee may vary at different Embassies/Honorary Consulate offices

Visa Application/Collection Operating Hours

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM only
(Strictly no visa application and collection after 12.00 PM)

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays (according to Japanese Calendar)
