Happy Khmer New Year・クメール正月

Here’s wishing all our Cambodian friends and everyone celebrating this festive occasion, a Happy Khmer New Year!

Unfortunately, this year, due to the Covid-19 community infection outbreak in Cambodia in February, Khmer New Year festive celebrations were impossible. In order to curb the further spread of Covid-19 in the local community, the Cambodian government has requested all Cambodia citizens and residents to engage in “New Year At Home!”.

Both Cambodia and Japan are struggling with the rising local Covid-19 infection cases, and we sincerely pray that the outbreak situation can be placed under control soonest. We’d like to also wish all Cambodia citizens and residents continued good health and prosperity for the New Year.

カンボジア国民の皆様、及びクメール正月をお祝いする皆様、クメール正月、あけましておめでとうございます！

今年は、2月の新型コロナウイルス大規模市中感染拡大の影響で、カンボジアでは大規模なクメール正月のお祝いが規制されています。感染拡大防止のため、カンボジア政府から、カンボジア国民・居住者に対し「New Year At Home!（クメール正月はステイホームを！）」との要請がありました。

カンボジアも日本も、毎日厳しいコロナ感染状況が続いております。一刻も早くコロナ感染拡大が収まりますよう心よりお祈り申し上げますとともに、カンボジア国民・居住者の皆様の益々のご健勝とご繁栄を祈念いたしております。
