Today, 15th October 2020, is Commemoration Day of King’s Father, and is also a public holiday in Cambodia.

On this day, Cambodians commemorate and pay their respect to the late King, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, who passed away on 15th October 2012. To many Cambodians, the late King Norodom Sihanouk is an important symbol of the nation, and is known as the “Father of Independence, Sovereignty, Unity and National Reconciliation.”

Since taking the throne in 1941, King Norodom Sihanouk dedicated his life to the country and held strong beliefs in maintaining peace for Cambodia during his reign.

Through here, we wanted to take this opportunity as well to offer our condolences to the victims of the flash floods in Cambodia currently. We are confident that the people of Cambodia, with resilience and unity like the late King Norodom Sihanouk, can recover from this disaster quickly.
